Next Level Staffing is hiring a customer focused Structural CAD Designer for a successful manufacturer of structural fiberglass platforms, handrails and other specialty structural fiberglass components.

Hours:

Monday-Friday: 7:30am -4:30pm (potential voluntary and mandatory overtime)

Essential Functions:

• Provide and present detailed technical drawings that incorporate information from engineers, architects, surveyors and customers.
• Plan, layout, and design structural fiberglass parts and structures using knowledge in building codes, weight, volume and stress calculations
• Communicate effectively with Team Ultra Associates regarding design and manufacture of structural fiberglass components and structures
• Produce material lists
• Perform on site – job inspections
• Resolve and revise design discrepancies

Qualifications:

• Previous structural design experience
• Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid job history and 3 professional references
• Proficient using 2D AutoCAD and experience in Solid Works
• Strong Understanding of blueprint and technical drawings
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment
• Contribute to positive work environment

Understanding of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
